At Serendipity Fabrics, each fabric is the result of a careful selection of natural fibres and artisanal processes carried out under strict quality standards. Our commitment is to offer products that meet the highest aesthetic and technical expectations.

Scope of the Warranty

We guarantee that our fabrics are free from manufacturing defects at the time of delivery.

The warranty exclusively covers defects attributable to the production process, such as:

• Structural faults in the fabric

• Defects in the finishing

• Verifiable manufacturing errors

Notification Period

Any potential defect must be notified in writing within a maximum period of 15 calendar days from receipt of the order, indicating the order number and attaching clear photographs to allow proper evaluation.

After this period has elapsed, the product will be deemed accepted.

Conditions of Validity

For the warranty to apply, the fabric must:

• Not have been cut, sewn or otherwise handled

• Not have been washed, cleaned or treated

• Be kept in its original condition

The fabric must always be inspected before cutting or making up the material.

Exclusions

The following are not considered defects and are therefore excluded from the warranty:

• Variations in tone, texture or shade inherent to natural fibres

• Colour differences between batches

• Natural irregularities inherent to linen, cotton, wool, silk or other noble fibres

• Colour changes caused by exposure to natural or sunlight

• Wear resulting from normal use

• Damage caused by improper handling, unsuitable cleaning or manufacture by third parties

• Customised or made-to-order products

• Samples and sample books

The natural characteristics of the material form part of its authenticity and do not constitute a defect.

Resolution

Once the claim has been assessed and a manufacturing defect confirmed, Serendipity Fabrics will proceed, as appropriate, with:

• The replacement of the defective fabric, or

• The reimbursement of the amount corresponding to the affected product

The liability of Serendipity Fabrics is strictly limited to the value of the supplied fabric, excluding any additional costs such as making-up, installation or labour.
